Get the Puck Out Pilsner

This crisp pilsner had its genesis in rinkside chats, tourney weekends away, and early morning practices.

Our Story

GameTime Brew Co had its genesis in rinkside chats, tourney weekends away, and early morning practices. Founded in the rinks of Ontario by seven families bonding over the shared joys and anguish of youth hockey, our beer celebrates these lifelong friendships that will outlast any dreams of going to the show.

Wondering what the numbers represent around the rim of the can? They play tribute to the jersey numbers of our sons who brought us together. Without their hockey dreams, we never would have met.

Giving Back

We recognize that playing youth sports is a privilege and, as such, have partnered with the Ontario Sledge Hockey Association (OHSA). The OSHA has helped so many individuals participate in an inclusive team sport . Our commitment is to give 1% of the sales of our flagship “Get the Puck Out” pilsner back to this amazing organization.

This is a smooth, well-balanced, golden coloured Pilsner beer. Aromas of baking bread are followed by flavours of honey kissed apricots and oranges. The moderate backbone of hops combines to provide a great beer drinking experience.  I found my glass was empty way too soon.

Get The Puck Out is excellent on its own or with all the traditional snacks and food that follow the game.

What an easy-drinking, smooth beer! It's nicely carbonated with a really pleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. Definitely the kind of beer that has you going back for more! And we love that it's a bit cheeky too.

Get the Puck Out Pilsner pours to a brilliant golden colour with moderate carbonation. Looks tasty! It has a quiet fragrance with a slight aroma of hops. The palate is crisp and light yet still flavourful with a malty taste that lingers until the next sip. Definitely a beer for the pool or with burgers, wings or pizza.

Happy Customers!

We brew this beer for all the sports parents who load up the car, the equipment and the players and drive all over Ontario, stand in cold rinks and cheer like it's Game 7 on a Monday night. Cheers to you!
